Derivative of a function ‘f’ at m can be denoted as-

F’ (a) = limit (z →0) [{f (m + z) – f (m)}/ z]

Derivative of a function f at x can be denoted as-

F’ (x) = limit (z →0) [{f (x + z) – f (x)}/ z]

For functions u and v, use the following equations:

- (u ± v)’ = u’ ± v’
- (uv)’ = u’v + uv’
- (u/v)’ = u’v – uv’/ v2
