**Properties of Fluids**

There are three physical properties of fluids including density, viscosity, and surface tension. Their dimensions will be studied in terms of mass, length, and time (M, L, and T).

Pascal’s law primarily states that any pressure that is forced on to any form of fluid inside a closed system will transfer that pressure equally in all directions throughout the fluid. This law is the simple principle that sources hydraulic power in heavy construction machines to work.

**Bernoulli’s Principle**

Bernoulli’s principle is an impression of the dynamics of the fluid. It describes that as the speed of the fluid increases, pressure decreases. For example, for a steady flow, the amount of fluid coming into the pipe must equal the amount of water exiting the pipe, so the fluid speed in the thin part must increase.

**Stokes’ Law**

The law that delays a sphere moving through a sticky fluid is directly proportional to the radius of the sphere, the velocity of the sphere, and the viscosity of the fluid. It is defined as the law that the frequency of luminescence persuaded by radiation is generally less than the frequency of the radiation.

**Reynolds Number**

The Reynolds number is described as the product of times of density, velocity, and length divided by the viscosity coefficient. This is relational to the ratio of inertial forces and viscous forces in the flow of a fluid.

**Pressure**

The pressure is described as the physical force applied to an object. The force exerted is perpendicular to the surface of objects per unit area. The basic formula for pressure is represented as F/A. The unit of pressure is Pascals. Different types of Pressure include Absolute, Differential, Atmospheric, and Gauge Pressure.
