  • Circumference – The circumference is known as the parameter of the circle that means it is the distance covered by going around the boundary of the circle
  • Sector – A sector refers to the portion of the circle that is enclosed by an arc and to radii. In this, the smaller area is known as a minor sector and the larger area is known as the major sector.

  • Equal chords subtend equal angles at the centre 
  • If the angles subtended by the chords of the circle at the centre are equal than the chords are equals 
  • The perpendicular from the centre of a circle to a chord bisects the chord
  • A line is drawn through the centre of a circle to bisect a chord is perpendicular to the chord.
  •  Equal chords of a circle are equidistant from the centre
